Watercolour Letter Design Project
I chose to do an S for the Sea (and snuck in plenty of other things that start with the letter S as well). |
Zine Project
For my zine, I created a book entitled 15 Reasons to Have Plants in Your House, that quite literally states 15 reasons to own a plant. It came from my personal love of plants, though I don't have any anymore because I may not be the best at taking care of them. It includes drawings I created, as well as pictures that I took and edited. Spotlight Project
In this assignment, I decided to choose my Uncle to highlight what he does for me and my family, as well as the community. He is the most loving, humble, generous, Christ-like man I have ever met, and I am so lucky to be able to know him and call him family (even though we are not blood related). He has spent his entire life serving his community in Northern Saskatchewan as a Salvation Army Officer, constantly on call for those in need, I know from spending time with him that he is always willing to take a call, meet with people, and give generously his time and resources to help anyone who comes to him, and he does so from a place of pure love without prejudice. He has spent much time supporting Indigenous peoples in his hometown of Meadow Lake, fighting for the rights of all, and treating everyone with the equal respect they deserve, regardless of standing, race, skin color, wealth, religion or any other defining factors. I believe he deserves to be recognized and thanked for the incredible life of service he has committed to the Lord, remaining undeniably humbled throughout it all. |
